BIOThe Producer BDB , Bryan Avila (American, b.1983) is an installation and conceptual artist currently working out of Los Angeles, CA. Avila's artistic work is varied and is presented in multiple mediums such as collaged paintings, videos, street and gallery installations, and even designing shoes with Adidas. He is a self taught artist , raised globally that took an incredible path to becoming a full time artist. Avila’s early years were spent drawing his own comic books and caricatures of teachers and classmates. His Unique style where he merges comic and traditional pop art techniques. His characters are “updated” with todays contemporary fashion styles making them conceptual signs of the times. His renderings include Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso amongst many other contemporary culture producers to the extend of Karl Lagerfeld or Anna Wintour.
His unique articulations amalgamate street culture with pop, fashion and a heavy doze of fine art. The Producer BDB’s creations have been shown and collected around the globe in such cities as Paris , France, Madrid ,Spain, Rio De Janerio , Brazil, Miami in the United States, Hong Kong , Singapore .Berlin, Germany and Seoul, South Korea. Institutions that include Delta’s Sky Lounge at LAX). Delta Sky Lounge at Atlanta , Hawaii And Detroit. Universal Studios Hollywood commissioned 5 murals in 2022.
